Photographer Chase Jarvis once told an audience that anyone who walked his walk would find success, which led me to wondering what walking a mile in his shoes would really be like. So I asked Chase to send me a pair. And he did! Now I’d like you to take them for a spin. All I ask is that you share your photos on flickr and post the shoes to the next person on the list.

That is exactly the email that Providence, Rhode Island's Dan Ohh sent from his Iphone, to himself.
A friend had sent him a link to www.voltronofawesomeness.com where he saw the work of California photographer Jeff Newsom and he wanted to be able to remember this moment of inspiration.
Dan keeps a file of these self-emails and finds that they help to keep him aware of his scattered ideas, enabling him to make use of them when the right opportunity comes around.

The latest information I have is that the shoes have landed In Rhode Island. Every effort is being made to keep them moving.
It really is a simple concept....Get the shoes...shoot the shoes...send the shoes and then repeat.

Just one look at the Chase Jarvis Shoe Project Flickr Pool and you will see that iintrigue from Montreal has no shortage of ideas.
As well as having the Concept Dept. cranking at full speed he has his Production Dept. on overtime.

Scott Hargis, an architecture and Real Estate photographer from Oakland, was involved in this project from the beginning. A buddy of mine, Scott knew that things were going to get crazy when I first mentioned the Shoe Project concept to him.
Scott travels fairly frequently to Seattle and he just knew he could get Chase in front of his lens for this concept.

You can read about Scott's experience shooting with Chase on his blog. http://scotthargisphoto.wordpress.com/
